dou

As part of its ongoing efforts to open safe and inclusive dialogue spaces for Palestinian youth, Dou’ – The Palestinian Forum for Dialogue and Development is preparing to launch a series of interactive youth workshops in the coming days, under the title:

"Current Challenges and Future Horizons: Youth Perspectives."

These workshops are organized in partnership with local community-based organizations across the West Bank and are part of Dou’s broader mission to promote a culture of dialogue, enhance civic engagement, and empower marginalized groups—particularly youth—to actively contribute to building a just, democratic, and inclusive society.

Rooted in Dou’s vision of a cohesive Palestinian society grounded in pluralism, respectful of diversity, and committed to dialogue as a means for positive change, the workshops will serve as platforms for young people to openly discuss national issues, reflect on the challenges they face, and develop ideas and local initiatives to address them.

The workshops are scheduled to take place as follows:

  • Tulkarem: Friday, April 11, 2025 – Hosted by Wasil Youth Development Association, in cooperation with Al-Awda Center for Youth Empowerment.

  • Arraba – Jenin: Saturday, April 12, 2025 – At Arraba Development Association, in partnership with Khutwa Community Development Association.

  • Tarqumiya – Hebron: Saturday, April 19, 2025 – At the Community Center for Youth in Tarqumiya.

Dou emphasized that this series marks the beginning of a broader effort to foster critical political and social awareness among youth, and to support their role as drivers of change within their communities.

Join us and be the voice of change.
